Mixed reactions have followed a video showing popular actor, Charles Okocha, meeting popular Chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, at a recent event.
Charles Okocha apparently bumped into the celebrity Chef, who is currently awaiting confirmation from the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest cooking marathon by an individual but was unable to spot her despite being at her cooking spot to support her.
Recall that a few weeks ago, Charles stormed the venue of her cooking marathon in the Lekki region of Lagos state to shower her with praise during the record-breaking challenge in which she successfully cooked for more than 100 hours.
During their latest meeting, the popular Nollywood actor couldn’t place her and had to ask about her identity before being told that she is Hilda Baci.
Charles was visibly surprised as he exclaimed “Ewooooooooo” and began to hug her warmly. He also shared how he sacrificed two other commitments to attend her cooking marathon.
Sharing the video, the Nollywood actor wrote, “Link up with @hildabaci the cook #PHENOMENALSEASON”
The video sparked a flood of comments on social media, with many feeling that Charles Okocha didn’t recognize Hilda Baci because of her wig and makeup.
