Popular Afrobeat singer, Davido, has taken to social media to pledge his love to his wife, Chioma Avril Rowland, as she enters a new age today, April 30th.
Davido called Chioma Avril Rowland his “right hand” and “go-to” person in a message he posted on his Instagram page this morning.
He told her that their relationship is an “eternal thing” and said that their love is everlasting.
He wrote;
“Today I just want to celebrate my right hand! My go-to! Happy birthday, baby @thechefchi! God bless you. Your love is timeless. It’s a forever thing I ASSURE YOU!”
A few weeks ago, Davido explained why his new album “Timeless” contains no reference to his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke’s death.
Remember that Davido lost his son, Ifeanyi in October 2022 and went on a long hiatus before releasing his new body of work in March this year.
Speaking at a press conference, a reporter asked why he didn’t mention the incident but instead created an album that some people thought was celebratory.
In his words;
“Some other people feel that the song was just too partyish. That you should have put some soul especially..we all know what happened. some people feel you should have…”
In response to this, Davido said;
“There are emotions but not too much emotion and if you listen to Davido music over the years from time, I have always been a happy person whether I am going through something or not. So that side of my life, if I want to talk about it, there is time for that but for this album, that was not what I was going for. (Watch the video here)
