Veteran Nollywood actor, Ojo Arowosafe, commonly known as Fadeyi Oloro, has passed on after several years of ill health.
The veteran actor, who was born on September 15, 1957, in Igbara Odo, Ekiti, rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s, died on Tuesday night at the age of 66 after a long illness.
At the time of filing this report, the cause of his death had not been disclosed; however, it was revealed that he was suffering from kidney disease.
Last month, Fadeyi Oloro cried out for help through his son during an Instagram Live session with media personality, Daddy Freeze, after receiving a six-month eviction notice over unpaid rent.
Comedian Bayegun Oluwatoyin, commonly known as Woli Arole, confirmed the news of the veteran actor’s death on his Instagram page on Tuesday night, writing:
“So happy I reached out to you sir, so happy we played our part, so happy we laughed together, so happy we were able to show our support. Rest in Peace the Legend “Fadeyi Oloro”. Let’s check up on people when dey are alive, Let’s show love when people can feel, Let’s help when it can be seen”.
