The mother of famous Nigerian chef and restaurateur, Hilda Baci, has expressed her gratitude to God for allowing her daughter to break a Guinness World Record.
A video circulating on social media shows the heartwarming moment the Akwa-Ibom state woman celebrated her daughter’s historic achievement.
This comes after the food blogger broke the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes set by an Indian chef this morning, May 15th.
Her mother, who also owns a restaurant in Abuja, couldn’t contain her joy and excitement right away and thanked God for making her daughter’s dream come true of breaking the record of the longest cooking time by a person.
She said she had prayed to God who gave her daughter the dream to make it come true in a big way and he made it happen.
According to her, she was nobody before this remarkable feat, but now she speaks to governors and presidents, citing the recent visit of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as well as a phone call from Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on Sunday.
The proud mum also shared how she struggled to pay the rent of her home in Abuja but now “she dines with kings and queens”.
