Popular music director, Soso Soberekon, has revealed that he anticipated the arrest of embattled socialite, Hushpuppi and notified him in advance.
During a recent interview, the music director revealed that he wasn’t surprised by Hushpuppi’s arrest.
According to Soso Soberekon, he and the convicted internet scammer were friends and used to hang out whenever he visited Dubai.
Soso Soberekon said he had informed Hushpuppi about his extravagant spending and flaunting of wealth online before his arrest. He had informed Hushpuppi that his activities could lead to his arrest.
Soso said it breaks his heart every time he sees young people resort to fraudulent activities, money rituals, or other criminal methods to get quick money.

In June 2020, Hushpuppi was arrested at his home in Dubai for his involvement in a multi-million dollar scam orchestrated by himself and his union.
He was recently sentenced to 11 years in prison in the United States after pleading guilty to a money laundering conspiracy in April 2021.
Hushpuppi, whose real name is Ramon Abbas, was convicted by US District Judge, Otis D. Wright II. As part of the ruling, Judge Wright also ordered Hushpuppi to pay $1,732,841 in damages to two victims who suffered financial losses as a result of his fraudulent activities.
