Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, has taken to social media to mourn the death of his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie.
Yul Edochie’s first son with his first wife, May, died on March 30th after suffering a seizure while playing football with his classmates at school.
Since his death, Judy has avoided posting on social media. However, after Yul Edochie broke his silence on the incident on Thursday night, she also took to her Instagram page to pay tribute to the late Kambilichukwu.
In her tribute, the popular Nollywood actress described Kambilichukwu as a “great son” and prayed that he would rest in heaven with God.
Sharing a photo of a burning candle lit in the dark, she wrote: “God Knows Best. Rest In Heaven With GOD, Great Son. Kambi Yul Edochie.”

Earlier today, Yul Edochie took to his social media page to share a video collage documenting the life of his son, Kambilichukwu, with the caption:
“On that Wednesday morning, you came into my room, dressed up for school. You told me your school would be having inter-house sports on Friday, and I promised you would be there. You were so excited. You told me you won a gold medal in swimming.
I congratulated you. We joked about your height, then you left for school in your ever-cheerful manner. And you never came back home again. I can’t question God. My dear son, just 16 years with us here on earth, but you made your mark. Great son. Calm, cute, brilliant, always cheerful, an outstanding footballer, gentle, and loving soul… (Watch the video he shared here)
