The remains of eight students from Madonna University in Rivers State, who died in a horrific road accident have been buried.
9JaGistreel earlier reported that the tragic accident occurred on Saturday, February 18th, as they were traveling from Port Harcourt to Taraba State ahead of the forthcoming general elections on Saturday, February 25th.
Eight students of the university were burnt in the accident that took place at the TTC/Special Science School intersection along the Trans-Saharan Highway in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
Seven other students reportedly survived the incident with burns and injuries of varying degrees and were taken to Alex Ekwueme Teaching Hospital in Ebonyi State for treatment.
The remains of the deceased were buried on Tuesday morning, February 21st, at the Magami Christian Cemetery in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba state.

However, a Facebook user, Tony Matinjah, identified one of the victims as his brother, Amamzala Donald Matinjah, a 300-level optometry student.
