Veteran Nollywood actress, Maureen Okpoko, has appealed to well-meaning people for financial support over vision impairment issues.
In a video message to the public that has been circulating on social media, the actress revealed that she recently went blind and could no longer see.
She says it has been difficult going through life without her sight and she needs Nigerians to help her financially so she can get treatment.
The veteran actress also gave her personal phone number in case anyone wants to contact her directly.
In her words;
“I suddenly lost my sight, which means I can no longer see or I can’t see for now. I’m seeking for your financial assistance, it would be greatly appreciated if y’all can come to my aid. I also need your prayers and words of encouragement, it has not been an easy journey for me, but I’m grateful for the gift of life. Thank y’all”
