Billionaire businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko, has sparked a backlash after he gushed on social media about his ex-wife, Laila Charani, and her children.
This is coming months after Laila, who announced her split from him in November 2021, publicly apologized to him on her Instagram page.
In the apology post, she said her actions were unintentional and that she allowed herself to listen to strangers a little too much.
“This is to my entire Ned Nwoko family. I have realized that I made mistakes that are not intentional. I listened too much to outsiders and I have decided to apologize to my husband and other members of the family. I want peace and progress in the family,” she wrote.
Ned, who has not publicly responded to Laila’s apology, took to his Instagram page on Wednesday morning to gush over her and their children together.
He flooded his Instagram page with adorable photos of his ex-wife and children, writing, “My beautiful babies.”
However, his post sparked reactions from social media users, who speculated that Ned and Laila have finally settled their differences and are back together.
Veteran Nigerian singer and songwriter, 2Baba, also responded to the post, pointing out that Ned Nwoko’s children bear a striking resemblance with him.
