Popular Nollywood actress and singer, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has spoken openly about how desperation at a young age almost drove her into prostitution.
Speaking to media personality, Chude Jidenwo, the screen diva shared how she lost her father at the age of 12 to the cold hands of death and how the tragic event nearly ended her life.
According to her, she learned to be emotionless, and since her father died, things never got to her again, no matter how painful they might be.

This is coming after Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde lamented about the level of suffering that the average Nigerian is going through in the country.
The thespian, who moved to the United States with her family two years ago, said life in the United States has made her deeply frustrated with the level of needless suffering in Nigeria.
According to her, Nigerians are too smart to suffer like that and she is confused about some things Nigerians have to endure on a daily basis.
She went on to explain that suffering is not something to brag about and that people do not need to suffer until basic things are provided.
In her Instastory, the 44-year-old movie star said,
“After Living in the US Now for about 2 years… Not just Visiting but living and changing Systems…I now see Many things we managed and Let’s slide is just pure craziness…I’m deeply Frustrated at the depth and Volume of the Needless Suffering Nigerians go through. We are too Intelligent a people to suffer like this. Suffering is Not a lesson to brag about … it’s Evil. Why must people SUFFER to get anything done? Why ?!”
