Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, commonly known as Portable, prides himself on being a highly intelligent man who acquired most of his knowledge from the streets.

The Zeh Nation boss shared a new photo of himself on his official Instagram page on Friday, boasting that he’s smarter than a lot of people.

According to him, though he can’t boast much about receiving any formal education, he picked up most of his knowledge on the streets and it has paid off.

The street, as Portable puts it, is a rich source of knowledge and experiences that can offer valuable lessons that cannot be taught in a classroom setting.

“ZAzuu I have learned more in the Streets than in any classroom I’m still smarter than you in the Zoo my future in GOD’S hands 🙏🙏🙏 IKA OF AFRICA Akoi Grace⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dr. ZEH Nation many many inspiration 💯💯💯”, he wrote.

This is coming after the Ogun State Police Command arrested singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, after he refused to accept the police offer.

After the expiration of the 72-hour deadline granted to him by the Ogun State Police Command, the Zazu singer was taken into custody on Friday, March 31st.

Remember that on March 28th, videos of Portable attempting to evade capture and verbally abusing police officers went viral on social media.

The police then gave him a 72-hour ultimatum to report to the nearest police station or risk being arrested by Friday.

Commenting on the development, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed that the singer had been arrested and is currently at the State Police offices in Eleweran, Abeokuta.

Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi further stated that Portable was detained after turning down five offers.

Additionally, It has also been revealed that the singer will remain in the custody by the authorities until Monday, April 3rd when he faces legal action.

When questioned in police custody, the singer claimed he was unaware that the people who came to his bar to arrest him were police officers. (Watch the video here)

Davido Pledges N300M To Orphanages Across Nigeria

Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, publicly promises to donate a large sum of money to orphanages in Nigeria.

The Afrobeats singer shared this commitment on February 20, 2024, on the microblogging platform, X, He also shared this commitment on his Instagram page.

 

 

 

He said it is an agreement between him and his foundation to fund the orphanages with the sum of three hundred million naira.

Davido stressed that this commitment is an annual gift as a contribution to the nation.

The DMW Boss tweeted;

“I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation .. details of disbursement tomorrow”

The Music executive also added that the details of the fund’s disbursement will be announced on February 21.

The Afrobeats singer’s pledge to fund orphanages has sparked much speculation on social media; Some are congratulating the singer on his humanitarian act, and others still ask him about the broken promise of the previous one.

Popular comedian and actor, Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth, blames himself for the country’s inflation and other ongoing problems.

The comedian responded sarcastically to a netizen who recently attacked him, saying that he contributed to the problem in Nigeria.

He said the comedian had planned a concert on Election Day instead of going to the polls.

“Did Basketmouth Vote for Good Governance on Election Day?” Basketmouth, whose show was scheduled for February 25, 2023. He is part of Nigeria’s problem,” the tweep said.

In response, Basketmouth admitted that he was the cause of the problems currently plaguing the country, including the high cost of the dollar.

He wrote;

“Oh yes!!! I guess I am the problem!! I’m the reason the $ is now N1,700 and counting. I’m the one that keeps collapsing the power grid. I’m the reason the refineries don’t work. I’m the snake that swallowed $100,000. I guess I am the one.”

The veteran actor recently spoke on Yancontentfactory about his earliest memories and shared how his father had a total of 11 children and for some reason, every time a male child reaches the age of 25, he dies.

The movie star recalled how the whole village celebrated his birth, but when they saw his face, they were repelled.
