A video of the adorable conversation between sensational Nigerian singer, Simi and her two-year-old daughter, Adejare, has gone viral online.
The “Duduke” singer was caught chatting with her daughter when the little girl suddenly screamed her name “Simisola” in what many in this part of the world would consider disrespectful.
Simi, who is happily married to Afrobeat singer, Adekunle God, was surprised by her daughter’s words and queried her for calling her by her first name, asking: “Who’s Your Mate?”.
After much back-and-forth between the mother-daughter duo, Adejare recanted her words and addressed the singer as “Mummy” instead.
The video has garnered countless reactions on social media as internet users have differing opinions on the celebrity and her daughter’s exchange.
While many social media users were surprised by Adejare’s growth and the fact that she can now speak clearly.
