Upcoming Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, known professionally as Spyro, has revealed that he was advised to consult a herbalist to have a good music career but he never listened.
On his Twitter page, the “The Who’s Your Guy” singer shared that he had decided to put his trust in Jesus Christ instead, but his colleague scoffed at his decision.
Spyro told the story to praise God for how far he has come and for his ability to create a hit song that has earned him recognition from people around the world.
According to him, when he was still suffering, he used to slide into other people’s DMs for encouragement, but Grace eventually found him.
He wrote;
“Dem say make dem carry me go herbalist wey go run am for me, dem laugh me when I told them JESUS will do mine …Omo I enter DM’s tire but finally JESUS DID. GRACE GRACE GRACE this is my story.”
