After the tragic death of all five people on board a submersible en route to the Titanic ship, a video showing what an underwater implosion looks like has been released online.

The OceanGate submersible that set sail for the wreck of the Titanic, about 39,000 feet below sea level, on Sunday, June 18th, reportedly suffered a catastrophic implosion, killing everyone on board instantly.

After the tragedy, a simulated video of a submarine implosion surfaced on the Internet. It’s like a bomb that can completely wipe out a vessel in milliseconds.

An implosion occurs when part of the submersible’s carbon fiber and titanium shell develops a small crack or defect, as seen in the video below…

The submersible lost contact with its mother ship about an hour and 45 minutes after it submerged on Sunday.

The men are believed to have died on Sunday – before military planes carrying sonar buoys detected what they believed to be SOS “Banging” sounds in the water.

The victims are OceanGate CEO, Stockton Rush, British billionaire, Hamish Harding, French Navy veteran, Paul-Henri (PH) Nargeolet, Pakistani businessman, Shahzada Dawood, and his 19-year-old son, Suleman.

“The implosion would have generated a significant, broadband sound that the sonar buoys would have picked up,” Rear Admiral of the US Coast Guard, John Mauger said at a news conference.
