Controversial Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has revealed that she almost became a pastor when she was young.
According to the talented Nollywood actress, she grew up in the church and held positions as a cell leader and worker.
Tonto Dikeh, who revealed this in a post on her official Instagram page on Tuesday, shared how the values she adopted as a child have continued to influence her.
She noted that despite the level of her exposure and the nature of her job, she always values propriety and feels uncomfortable wearing revealing clothing.
In her words,
“I grew up in church… I was a cell leader. I was a department assistant. I almost became a pastor. I still have a 70% village mentality. I’m so uncomfortable with revealing clothing”.
It is worth recalling that a few weeks ago, Tonto Dikeh embarked on a fitness journey ahead of her upcoming 38th birthday.
The mother-of-one shared a video of herself at the gym on her Instagram page, revealing that she had gifted herself a gym membership as part of her birthday present.
In her caption, the movie star opened up about her health issues, noting that she has a “bad heart,” which is one of the reasons she decided to hit the gym to improve her overall well-being. (Continue reading)
