Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has given more details on how her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, impelled her to sponsor their wedding in 2015.
This is coming amid their ongoing chaotic drama, which began after Olakunle Churchill went online to celebrate their son, King’s birthday last Friday.
It is worth recalling that Tonto was offended by his birthday post and hit back at him for being a deadbeat dad in real life and acting like a good dad on social media.
Since then, the drama has taken a different twist and turns, with the former couple accusing each other of malicious crimes on social media.
However, the mother-of-one has shared a video revealing that she had paid for their wedding after Churchill deceived her into sorting their wedding bills.
Tonto, who got married to Churchill in 2015, said she was living in Lagos while Churchill was in Ghana during preparations for their wedding, so whenever a bill came up, he would ask her to pay for it.
She explained that it was so bad that it was her friend’s husband that paid for the hotel room where they made love after their marriage.
The mother-of-one provided screenshots of their conversation to support her claim and said he only contributed 700,000 naira to the wedding while his uncle gave him 1,000,000 naira.
However, Tonto Dikeh noted that prior to their divorce, Olakunle Churchill repaid her with N10 million to cover all expenses.
The 37-year-old actress wrote,
