Kolawole Ajeyemi, the husband of popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has finally responded as his wife faces backlash for backing All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
You will recall that Toyin Abraham, an avid APC fan, received harsh criticism on social media from Nigerians who objected to her political affiliation.
Nigerians dragged her through the mud on social media, accusing her of supporting Tinubu for financial reasons. Some even went so far as to curse her husband and children.
Finally, amid the backlash, Toyin Abraham’s husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi has responded, clarifying that just because his wife supports a particular party doesn’t mean he supports her.
He further added that he personally did not campaign for any party.
“Good day everybody, it’s not like I asked anyone of you to vote for any candidate or campaigned for any party and the fact that my wife is supporting a specific party doesn’t mean that I’m supporting her. So, those of you laying curses on my children I rebuke it all and I wish you all the same. And I repeat I did not campaign for any candidate.” He wrote on Instagram on Monday, February 27.
