Danielle, the first child and only daughter of popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has removed her last name “Edochie” from her Instagram bio amid a family crisis.
It’s no secret that the Edochie family has been plagued by tragedy and controversy ever since the famous actor welcomed a child with fellow actor, Judy Austin and took her to be his second wife.
Recently, Yul made headlines after posting a video of Judy thanking God for the safe delivery of their child, which didn’t sit well with many social media users. They called the video “insensitive” because it was made just weeks after the death of his first son with his first wife, May.
Amid the backlash, the Nollywood actor, who was unbothered by the criticisms, shared an alluring video of himself and Judy singing along to a song in his car.
Following the series of controversial events, Danielle has removed her father’s name “Edochie” from her Instagram bio. She changed her last name to “Dubem” but left her Instagram account as “Danielleyuledochie”.
