Former Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ housemate, Chichi, has opened up about her failed relationship with a fake housemate, Deji Morafa.
On Wednesday’s reunion show, Chichi opened up about all the abuse he subjected her to, which ultimately led to their breakup.
According to Chichi, Deji reassured her of his love during their time together but presented a different narrative to the audience.
She claimed Deji used her childhood experiences to make her believe she was the culprit every time they had an argument, leading her to question her own sanity and even consider seeking therapy.
Chichi also mentioned that Deji dismissed her concerns every time she voiced them, saying she was thinking too much. She said she eventually got tired of the situation, which she found exhausting, and decided to walk away.
“In SA [South Africa], most of you would noticed that I wasn’t really giving him [Deji] my time until he was complaining. I have screenshots, I have evidence. I have receipts. If you want hard copy, I will give you, if you want soft copy, it’s available.
“He [Deji] came to my room that night. He knows how to pooke me. Shut up I’m not done. Don’t interrupt me please. I’m trying to keep my cool because if I start to expose you; you did so many nasty things that I don’t care about anymore.”
“When he does something to me and I complain, Deji will tell me that I’m overthinking it, I need a therapist, I bought that idea, I started feeling that I needed a therapist”. She said.
