Popular Nigerian actor, Mr. Ibu has denied his wife’s claim that Chioma Jasmine is his mistress and not her daughter as is widely believed.
His wife, Stellamaris accused him of abandoning her and their children, claiming that he was dating his adopted daughter, Chioma Jasmine Okafor.
The Nollywood veteran cleared the air during an Instagram Live session with his second son, Daniel Onyebuchi Okafor, and media personality, Daddy Freeze.
Mr. Ibu revealed that he adopted Chioma when she was a child and that she is his legal daughter but not biological.
He claimed that he and his wife had been having issues and had gone to the police to resolve their differences and they had been told not to post anything until the matter was resolved at the police station.
He said he had no idea that she had already gone on social media to insult him and his daughter.
Daniel Okafor, his son, who responded to a request for Jasmine’s identity, said that she is his adoptive daughter who was adopted when she was young.
According to Daniel, his stepmother, Stellamaris Okafor was brainwashed by strangers who constantly pitted her against Jasmine.
He further stated that when the veteran Nollywood actor fell ill, it was Jasmine who looked after him while his wife was in Cyprus.
